When a product without an image is added to your store, a 'missing image' placeholder is automatically displayed on the frontend of your website. This image is quite intrusive as it depicts the Magento logo in very large!
Thankfully, you can override the default placeholder image(s) with your own image(s). To do so, follow these steps...
- Logging to your Magento 2 admin
- Then, go to STORES > CATALOG > CATALOG > PRODUCT IMAGE PLACEHOLDERS
- Select which image placeholder(s) you wish to override by clicking on the 'choose file'
- Upload a new image. Done.
